Wood pellets made their debut in the 1970s in Oregon (USA), initially used in industry as a solid fuel to replace petroleum products. Around 1983, wood pellets entered the home as fuel for boilers, inserts and wood-burning stoves. In 2020, 1.7 million tons of wood pellets were produced in France.

WOODSTOCK wood pellets are made from 100% virgin, untreated sawdust and wood shavings. They are manufactured in compliance with the DIN+ quality standard, which guarantees you a quality product that provides maximum heat for minimum ecological and environmental impact. Wood pellets are a very dense, very dry product that burns almost completely, guaranteeing minimum particle emissions, very little ash and therefore maximum heat for unrivalled efficiency. The Din+ standard also ensures that the product is perfectly suited to your wood-burning stove, insert or boiler, so that your heating or cooking appliance runs smoothly.

Our wood pellets / stove pellets are therefore suitable for all wood pellet heating appliances and pose no risk during normal use.

Wood pellets can be packed in 15 KG bags or in a silo. As it is sensitive to humidity, it must be stored indoors in a dry place, and if possible raised to avoid direct contact with the ground. Silos designed to hold wood pellets are ideal for this purpose, and guarantee that the pellets will remain in good condition. If pellets are stored in the right conditions, they will keep for a very long time without spoiling! In fact, storing pellets in a suitable room in the house (not outside) and away from moisture will help them retain their energy properties, and their consumption will not clog up your heating installations and systems (boiler, chimney…).

We deliver our pellets by 12-tonne straight truck for easy access to our customers’ homes, as opposed to the 19-tonne trucks we usually use. Delivery possible within 10 days, anywhere in France, with prior appointment. Pallet of 132 plastic bags of 15KG. Total pallet weight: 1980 KG
